Carousel (Old) is about the seemingly never-ending cycle of invasive plants coming and going. There is an effort of extraction, but it is not as fast as the regrowth. Like going around a carousel, ending up in the same place as before- tearing down, living, regrowing, eradicating, and the cycle continues. The collaboration between the Harriet Beecher Stowe House inspired the overgrown vines and mosses shown to be taking over the structure, as well as the visual design of the carousel.
